Thank you Father. I had a thought for folks who are allergic to Plato and prefer a biblical alternative to the cave allegory: Qohelet says everything “under the sun” is “hevel”—a vapor. “Hevel” is difficult to translate but in Ecclesiastes it feels analogous to Plato’s cave shadows. I think Ecclesiastes need to be a part of the “heaven on earth” conversation (debate?). We have to learn to accept the limitations of being “under the sun.” Just my 2 cents. Thanks again.
